Lil Boosie is an American hip-hop rapper from Louisiana. He was known the songs "Zoom", "Wipe Me Down" and "Thug Me Like That".

Southern rapper Lil Boosie (Torrence Hatch) was born on November 14, 1983 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He grew up without his father but made it a positive thing in his life by keeping himself busy with basketball. Boosie could have gone to college due to drugs he got kicked out of school. Boosie began rapping and later met up with C-Loc. The rapper released his full-length album, Youngest Of Da Camp. In 2004, he appeared on Webbie’s “Give Me That.” That appearance made his name known to the music industry. He landed a record deal then released his debut album, Bad Azz in 2006. The album included guest appearances of Pimp C, Webbie and Yung Joc. A Bad Azz DVD followed where the rapper explained the death of his father due to drugs and his fight against diabetes. In 2007, he issued Trill Entertainment Presents: Survival of the Fittest.
