Yeah Yeah Yeahs is a American Rock Band from New York City. Their music is a mix of retro styles with heavy rock and punk guitars, synthetic sounds and screaming, erotic, bluesy vocals. They produced two EP and two studio albums such as, Show Your Bones among others.

About
Yeah Yeah Yeahs were formed in the late summer 2000 at New York City by the lead singer, "Karen O", "Brian Chase" on drum and "Nick Zinner" on guitar. Karen and Brian are both studying at Ohio's Oberlin College. The two met at that school, they also met Nick. Nick and Karen formed the band in 2000 and named it to, "Unitard". Brian also joined the band and they changed their name to, Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
In 2001, the band released their first self-titled EP Album. Their next EP, Machine was released in 2002. Their first full-length studio album, Fever To Tell was released on2003. It features the single, "Maps" which received significant airplay on alternative radio. The band released their first DVD, "Tell Me What Rockers To Swallow" in October 2004.
In March 2006, their next album, Show Your Bones was released. It contains the single, "Gold Lion" which chartered #18 at the UK Singles Chart. Their latest EP, Is Is was released last July 24, 2007.
