[edit] About

The British sensation – Coldplay, delivers their third album, X&Y. Released on the 6th of June, 2005 in the UK. In spring 2005, the lead single of the album, Speed of Sound marked their first single from their long-awaited third effort. In the UK chart history, X&Y is the third fastest selling album and debuted at #1 in 28 countries worldwide. The same year, two other singles were released: Fix You in September and Talk in December. Even when defying rumors of the band’s breakup and the publicity swirling around the marriage of Chris Martin to actress, Gwyneth Paltrow, this album found them in fine form. X&Y was recorded over 18months on eight studios in New York City, Los Angeles, London, Liverpool and Chicago. Overall, X&Y is an engaging heartfelt pop panorama.
