About
Workshy was formed in 1986 at London. The group comprises of "Michael McDermott" on bass, "Chrysta Jones" on vocals and "Kevin Kehoe" on guitar. Chrysta Marina Jones was born on March 5, 1963 at London. Michael John Mcdermott was born on October 8, 1961 at Oldham while Kevin Damien Kehoe was born on August 28, 1962 in Australia.
In 1964, Kevin's family moved in England. Kevin became friends with Michael at the age of two who lived three doors next to their home. At the age of 11, Chrysta joined her father’s band called "Metal Ticket". Michael's family migrated in London. He studied in St. Martins where Kevin was also taking up Psychology. They met there and formed a group named, "Garage" with Chysta. Then finally, they changed their named to Workshy.
In 1987, they signed a recording contract under Magnet Record. They released their debut album, The Golden Mile in 1989. The album became hit in Japan. In 1992, Kevin left the group and and they've became a duo ever since.
They produced more albums like, Ocean in 1992, Soul Love in 1994, Never The Same Again in 1995, Under The Influence in 1995, Coast in 1996, Allure in 1998, Clear in 2000 and Mood in 2002.
