[edit] About
Written by American Rapper-Songwriter LaPret, "Work It (featuring Shanice Cooper & Roc)" was released officially as a track by LaPret but won 7 GarageBand Awards as a Profound Intent single. The song features LaPret but does not feature other official group members Mizz Redz and Devy B, which caused many to speculate that LaPret should have received the GarageBand Awards for the song, and not the group.
The song is about a young girl working in fast food and getting a well-earned promotion to management. She also faces trouble in the streets and his coached onto the right path and taught to realize how far she's came in both life and work.
