We Don't Need to Whisper was the 2006 debut album by the alternative rock band, Angels & Airwaves. Tom DeLonge regarded this album as "the best music made in decades and "the greatest Rock & Roll revolution for it has the conceptual depth of Pink Floyd, the architecture of U2 and the energy and youthful vibrancy of Blink-182.

All of the album tracks was conceptualized and recorded by Tom and his bandmates in his home studio. The album's title We Don't Need To Whisper can be heard whispered at the beginning of the song Good Day. It's tracks The Adventure, Start the Machine and Valkyrie Missile are sampled in the track Heaven from the band's sophomore LP, I-Empire.

After 3 days of release, the album was a certified Gold in Canada, Silver in the UK and sold for more than 127,000 copies in the US in its first week of release. As of July 2007, the album has reached a total of 1.5 million copies worldwide.
