Want Two was released on November 16, 2004 under Geffen Records. The album was recorded in Bearsville Studios, Woodstock, NYC & London. The album has a number of hit singles that tells different stories. "Waiting For A Want" was released on November 16, 2004. The follow-up single "Peach Trees" is a sentimental song. Another was "This Love Affair" which a tragic song about two lovers. Wainwright also has a pop song, "The One You Love" and the "The Art Teacher".
