Violet Hill was shot in beautiful Italy. It begins with the band walking in the mountain and they play outside a huge old Italian house. Coldplay also played in the mountains fighting against the strong wind. Chris Martin uses a magnifying glass and shows off his teeth. There are some parts of the video where you see the band just fooling around and silhouette of them is seen where they are walking in the violet hill. The video closes with Martin falling in a pile of snow.

[edit] Reviews
Violet Hill took the title literally. The color is dramatic giving a sense of sorrow. The director gave the video a little spin and showed a humorous side where the band fooled around which made it less dragging. -Mimi 08:00, 31 July 2008 (PST)
