Van Zant was a popular American Country rock duo who rose to fame via their hit album, Get Right With The Man.

About
Van Zant was a rock duo composed of two brothers namely "Donnie and Johnny Van Zant" who were born and grew up in Jacksonville. Their father was a truck-driver while their mother was working at Dunkin Donuts. Their older brother "Ronnie Van Zant" was the former lead singer of Skynyrd. Ronnie died in a plane crash in 1977.
CAREER
David founder .38 Special, a popular Southern rock band int he 80's. Johnny became the lead singer of Skynyrd when the band reunited in 1987. In 1998, Van Zant was reformed when they released their album, Brother To Brother. Their follow up album, Van Zant II was released in 2001. The duo signed a recording contract under Sony Nashville and released their latest album, Get Right With The Man in 2005.
