V.I.P is the debut pop music recording from Profound Intent. The song leaked July 18, 2009 and the single officially released August 10, 2009 and is set to be the group's first single to appear on the Billboard charts. The single is the lead single from the new album Sumthin' U Can Feel.

The song, V.I.P is the first Profound Intent single to be released, not solely or chiefly written by American Songwriter LaPret. However, V.I.P was first written by 16 year-old, Singer-Songwriter Devan "Devy B" Brockenberry and later revised & Co-wrote by LaPret. It is the first pop music recording to be released from the group. The group previously recorded an unreleased pop influenced track entitled, Hangin' Wit My Crew that will no longer appear on the new album Sumthin' U Can Feel due to the recording of V.I.P.

The single is credited as introducing the group's new style and sound fused with urban rhymes and positive pop club references, with a more dance-like approach, than the group has ever attempted.

The song makes references to many popular songs, including LaPret's Do A Dub. Mizz Redz also mentions the unreleased track Hangin' Wit My Crew, she also makes reference to current First Lady Michelle Obama.
