About

Released on November 19, 2002 by Mercury, the album features 19 new tracks written by Robert John "Mutt" Lange and Shania Twain herself. The album was released five years after the album Come On Over. During that break, Shania Twain revealed that she needed that long break as she bore her first child, Eja and decided to rest at her mansion in Switzerland.

Before the released of the album, Twain greatly travelled around the world from Berlin down Mumbai to write the album which was released in three different mixes: country ("Green" disc), pop ("Red" disc) and international ("Blue" disc). The instrumentation featured non-classical Indian music styles and the international remixes were recorded in Mumbai, India.

The first two singles released from the album, "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!" and "Up!" became modest and didn't do so well in the music charts. While the third single was the most successful featuring the romantic ballad "Forever and for Always" which peaked at number 4 on the country charts and number one in the Australian charts spending 6 weeks.

Later on the album was certified 11x platinum by the RIAA.
