Unwrapped features 18 new songs - 14 English songs and 4 in Spanish. In the making of the album, Gloria once again collaborated with her writer/producer husband, Emilio Estefan. The album featured guest appearances of several known music artists including Jon Secada, Stevie Wonder and Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders.
