U Gotta Feel Me was released on March 30, 2004 under Columbia Records. The album peaked at no.4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and no.3 on the Hip-Hop/R&B chart. The album went Platinum. EA Sports used his single "What's My Name" for NFL Street and "I'm The Greatest Player" for NBA Live 2004.
