Tyrese is a talented American Hip-Hop rapper, actor and a model. He appeared in several movies like Baby Boy, 2 Fast 2 Furious,Flight Of The Phoenix, Four Brothers and Annapolis.

Tyrese Darnell Gibson was born on December 30, 1978 in Los Angeles, California. At the age of 14 years old, he performed in local talent shows. It was in 1998, when he got his big break starring in a Coca-Cola commercial. At the age of 17 years old, he was hired by Tommy Hilfiger and Guess to model. In the 1990's he also appeared in sitcoms such as Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, Martin, Sister, Sister, and Moesha.
Tyrese was a member of a group called Triple Impact under the name Black-Ty. In 1998, RCA Records signed him in and released his self-titled debut album. "Nobody Else" was a song written by Tyrese for his girlfriend which was a hit. The album was awarded in the American Music Award for Soul/R&B Favorite New Artist. It also sold over a million copies and went Platinum.
The talented Tyrese also hosted for MTV Jams show and countdown. With his busy schedule, he had time to record another album, 2000 Watts, which was released in 2000. The singles "I Like Them Girls" and "What Am I Gonna Do" were a smash hit. In 2002, his third album, I Wanna Go There, followed. The single "How You Gonna Act Like That" was nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in the Grammy Award.
Inspite of his success Tyrese was still down to earth. He helped a lot of underprivileged inner-city kids. His charity organization, 2000 Watts, raused thousands of dollars. He also participated in Charity Basketball.
