Ty Herndon is an American Country Music singer who rose to fame via his hit single, "What Mattered Most".

Ty Herndon was born on May 2, 1962 at Meridian, Mississippi and grew up in Butler, Alabama. Ty loves music as he grew up. In 1993, he signed a recording contract with Epic Records. His first hit single, "What Mattered Most" was released in 1995. His second album, Living In A Moment debuted at number six. His next album, Big Hopes was released in 1999. His next album, Not So Silent Night was released in 2004. His latest album, Right About Now was released in 2007.
