About
Model, singer and songwriter Tristan Prettyman was born on May 23, 1982 in San Diego, California. She began surfing ang getting engaged with sports during her teen years. Prettyman even joined in local surfing competitions. It was when she picked up her father's old acoustic guitar and just playing away. She learned how to play the instrument on her own, later on began making music. When she is not in the beach to surf or doing a photoshoots, Prettyman is playing her guitar at small venues and parties. One of Prettyman's single was included in the 2001 surf film, Shelter. Prettyman went on tour with G. Love & Special Sauce and Jason Mraz. In 2003, she released her debut album, Love, independently. Shortly, she signed in with Virgin Records. In 2005, she released Twentythree, which included Jason Mraz, Jesse Harris, Norah Jones and more. It was followed by Hello in 2008.
