Trapt was released on November 5, 2002 by Warner Bros. Records. It features three singles "Headstrong", "Still Frame", and "Echo". The hit single "Headstrong" went on top of the Modern Rock Tracks on 2002 while "Still Frame" charted at #3 spot.

The album was certified platinum by RIAA.
