Tonic is an American Post-Grunge Rock who rose to fame via their debut album, Lemon Parade.

Tonic was formed in 1993. The original members are Emerson Hart, Jeff Russo, Dan Roth Child and Kevin Shepard. After performing around Los Angeles, they signed a recording contract under A&M Records in 1995.
The group released their debut album Lemon Parade in 1996. In that same year, Dan Lavery replaced Dan Rothchild on bass. In 1999, they released their album, Sugar. Their third album, Head on Straight was released in 2001.
