Toni Collette was born in Blacktown, Sydney, New South Wales to "Judy Colette", a customer-service representative and "Bob Collette", a truck driver. At the age of 16, she attended in Blacktown Girls High School. She also studied in Australian Theatre for Young People and NIDA. Toni became an actress. "The Finish" was a band which was formed by Toni's husband, "Dave Galafassi" on drums with, "Glen Richards" on guitar, Glen won 2007 Song of the year for his band Augie March for the song "One Crowded Hour", "Pete Farley" on bass, "David Lane" on piano and "Amander Brown". Together with the band, Toni Collette and The Finish collorated for their debut album, Beautiful Awkward Pictures which was released in November 16, 2006 under Hoola Hoop Records. It features the single with the same title. It has spent 8 non-consecutive weeks on the AIR chart. Their next single, "Look Up" which features two live tracks from Toni Collettes MAX Session which comes as a treat to fans.
