Tina Turner is a Grammy Award winning American Pop/Rock/R&B/Soul singer. Her single What's Love Got To Do With It was a huge hit.

Anna Mae Bullock better known as Tina Turner was born on November 26, 1939 in the small city of Nutbush Tennessee. She had an elder sister name Alline Bullock. They were abandoned by their father and also their mother. Anna and Alline move to St. Louis to reunite with their mother.

Tina attended to St. Louis High School. He met Ike Turner, the R&B Band leader of the group Turner's King of Rhythm. Tina ask Ike if she could perform with their bands. Ike's initial response was no, but after much persistence on Tina's part. Ike eventually agreed.

Tina and Ike started working in 1958. Ike was the one who gave the stage name Tina Turner. Tina and Ike were married in 1962.

Her single A Fool In Love was a huge R&B Hit and made it into the top 30 of the US Pop Chart. They changed their bands name into Ike and Tina Turner Revere. Throughout the 60's and 70's, the couple rose to stardom.

In 1969 she had several major hits including River Deep Mountain High and Proud Mary. In mid 70's her marriage with Ike is beginning to deteriorate. Tina even had a failed suicide attempt. Tina had her divorce in 1978, she accused her husband a rampant drug addiction which she wrote on her autobiography I Tina which later made into film entitled What's Love Got To Do With It. She left her marriage with no money and property. It was revealed that her marriage with Ike was void since Ike wasn't officially divorced.

Tina climbed her way back to fame. She performed in nightclubs everyday. He met Roger Davies who produce the album Private Dancer in 1984 which became a huge hit, this proves that she can do it as a solo.

Tina also appeared in several movies like Mad Max: Beyond The Thunder Dome with Mel Gibson and her Autobiography film What's Love Got To Do With It. Tina also sang the theme song of one of the James Bond Movie Goldeneye.

In 2003, Tina teamed up with Phil Collins to record the song Great Spirits for the movie Brother Bear. She also recorded the theme song of the movie Lion King II: Simba's Pride called He Lives In You.

Tina has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition, she is a member of the St. Louis Walk of Fame.
