Timbaland is a respected hip-hop producer, rapper and R&B artist. His business partner is rapper Magoo. The two make the hip-hop duo Timbaland & Magoo.

About
Rapper and producer Timbaland (Timothy Z. Mosley) was born on March 10, 1971 in Norfolk, Virginia. There he met Melvin Barcliff a.k.a Magoo and Missy Elliot. Timbaland started playing hip-hop tracks on his Casio. When Missy Elliot heard what Timbaland had to offer, they began working together. After a while the trio moved to New York.
DeVante Swing (producer) signed Elliot and her all girl group, Sista, to Swing Mob Label. Missy Elliot also introduced Timbaland and Magoo, the two started working under the label where he was given the name Timbaland. The trio along with Ginuwine, Playa and Sugah were later on called Da Bassment Crew. Timbaland started producing for several artists such as Jodeci and Sista.
In 1997, Timbaland and Magoo released their debut album, Welcome To Our World, under Virgina Records. The album was Certified Platinum and the single "Up Jumps Da Boogie" entered the Hot R&B Chart peaking at no.4. In 1998, Tim's Bio, was released followed by Indecent Proposal, on November 2001. At this time, Aaliyah and Static died in a plane crash which made a huge change in Timbaland's life. Another collaboration of Timbaland and Magoo. In 2003, Under Construction, Pt. II hit shelves, third album of the duo.
Timbaland produced for numerous artists with big names. He started making his own label, Mosley Music Group. He started working with Nelly Furtado on her latest album, Loose. He also mentioned that he was looking forward to work with Whitney Houston, JC Chasez, Muse, Nas, Missy Elliott, P. Diddy, Lil Eazy-E, Foxy Brown, Young Jeezy, Chingy, The Game, Sisqo, Chilli (TLC), Tweet, Nicholas Strunk, Bjork, 50 Cent, Rich Boy, UGK, Young Buck, Stat Quo, Snoop Dogg and Eve.
