Tim Buckley was an experimental vocalist and performer who incorporated jazz, psychedelia, funk, soul, and avant-garde rock in a short career spanning the late 1960s and early 1970s. One of his album is Lorca.

Tim Buckley was born on February 14, 1947 at Washington D.C., U.S.A. He lived in New York for ten years before transferring in Southern California. When he was in his childhood, his favorites were Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Nat King Cole and Miles Davis.

In 1966, he signed a recording contract with Electra Records. He released his self-titled album in that year. In 1968, he released his album Happy Sad. His album Starsailor was a failure. Because of the failure of his album, he turned to alcohol and drug binger.

In 1971, he releases three albums Greetings From L.A., Sefroma and Look At The Fool, there were bit a hit. On June 28, 1975, he died at the age of 28 years old because of drugs.
