About
Tiffany Renee Darwish better known as Tiffany was born on October 2, 1971, in Oklahoma.
Tiffany started singing at an early age, but it wasn't the light pop style that she was eventually became known for. Tiffany was discovered by country music veterans, Hoyt and Mae Axton during the early 80's in one of a nightclub in Los Angeles while performing.
A few years from that time, Tiffany appeared on TV and recorded several demos, hoping that she would have a recording contract.
In the early 1987, she finally signed her recording contract with MCA, which released Tiffany's self-titled debut album and was promoted initially by having a U.S Mall Tour.
It was not until later of 1987 that the album began to catch the attention of young audiences. Until one day, they saw her at the MTV of "I Think We're Alone Now", which climbed to the number one spot of the Billboard charts and in less than a year, it was a certified quadruple platinum. Her next single, "Could've Been" was also been at the top spot of the billboards. A revival of the song of Beatles, "I Saw Him Standing There" proved to be Tiffany's last major hit from her self-titled debut album.
Her next album, 1988's Hold an Old Friend's Hand, was another hit which makes her a certified platinum artist but it did not match the successor of her first album.
When her third album, New Inside was released, it was not a successful one, so that is the time, she decided to lie low from her the music industry.
But despite not already seen by the public, she still continued to released several albums including 1993's Dreams Never Die, her compilation album, Greatest Hits and 2000's The Color of Silence.
The biggest story about Tiffany was after a while of not been visible to the public, she surprised the public when she posed for the 2002 issue of Playboy Magazine.
