The Weepies is a Pop Rock Duo who rose to fame via their hit album, Say I Am You.

The Weepies comprised of folk-pop duo, Deb Talan and Steve Tannen. Deb was an upcoming singer and has released her debut album, Burning. Steve is a musician from New York City and has released an album, Big Señorita. Deb was a fan of Steve and vice-versa. One night, Steve saw Deb watching his performance in a show. Steve was surprised and nervous. That started have a talked a decided to form, The Weepies in 2003. They released their debut album, Happiness in 2003. After two years they signed a recording contract under Nettwerk Records. In 2005, they released the album, Say I Am You which chartered at #41 on Top Heatseekers. The album also landed #1 on itunes list in February 2006. It feature the hit single, "Worldly Spins Madly On".
