The Wall is the last album by the rock band Pink Floyd. The hit songs in the album are "Young Lust", "Hey You", "Comfortably Numb" and "Run Like Hell". The album sold 30 million copies worldwide.

The Wall was released on November 30, 1979 under Columbia Records. The album reached no.1 on the Billboard album chart for 15 weeks. The first hit single in the album "Another Brick in the Wall (Part II)" hit the no.1 spot on the Pop Single chart and became no.1 in U.K. and the U.S. Another single "Run Like Hell" ranked no.53 on the Pop Single chart. The Wall is considered as one of their best selling album in U.S. selling more than 23 million copies.

  • The band was at their final time. Waters and Gilmour were always arguing and they had to take a co-producer to release the album. Wright went out the band after the album was released and he joined (contracted this time) to play the tour. It was really expensive and all of them lost money.
