The Truth was released on October 19, 1999 under Def Jam records. The album hit the no.5 spot on the Billboard 200 and no.2 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. The first single in the album "Anything" featuring Jay-Z ranked no.55 on the Billboard Hot 100. The second single "Remember Them Days" featuring Eve reached no.33 on the Hot Rap Singles. The third single "The Truth" which was produced by Kanye West hit the no.23 spot on the Hot Rap Singles.
