The Thrills is an Indie rock band. They became famous for their debut album So Much For The City which became no.1 in Ireland.

Irish band The Thrills came in the music scene in 2001 with the line-up: Conor Deasy (vocals), Daniel Ryan (bass), Kevin Horan (keyboard) and Ben Carrigan (drums). They made demo tapes and landed a deal with Supremo Records. The band switched to Virgin Records in 2002. They released their debut single “Santa Cruz (You’re Not That Far). The following year they released their debut album, So Much For The City. It went straight to the top of the charts and went platinum.
In 2004, Let's Bottle Bohemia was released featuring artists like Peter Buck from R.E.M. It became #1 in Ireland but was at #9 in U.K. It reached the platinum status yet again with the single "Whatever Happened to Corey Haim?". 2007’s Teenager had disappointing sales.
