About

Indie rock band The Stills originated in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 2000. The line-up of the band is Tim Fletcher (vocalist), Dave Hamelin (drummer), Greg Paquet (guitarist), and Oliver Corbeil (drummer). The four art major students left Canada and went to New York City for a two-month trip. With their songs in their pockets, The Stills was ready. They landed a contract with Vice Records. In 2003, the band released their album, The Rememberese but a full-length album was issued on October 2003 titled Logic Will Break Your Heart. The Stills toured extensively in North America and U.K. At the end of 2004, the band went back to the studio to start recording their follow-up album, Without Feathers but it was released in 2006 due to some changes in the line-up of the band. Greg Paquet left the band leaving Hamelin to play the guitar and added Liam O'Neil (keyboard) and Colin Brooks (drummer).
