The compilation album "The Reputation of a Rap Star - The Hits & Remixes" is LaPret's biggest selling release available. The album officially released May 06, 2008 in Digital formats worldwide. The release highlights his emerging career, covering his 2007 single "Do a Dub", 2008's "Make U See" and "Swerve" (with the group, Profound Intent).

In Spring 2008 the hype surrounding LaPret's notability spawn out of control, resulting in the global release of "The Reputation of a Rap Star - The Hits & Remixes" on May 06, 2008. Many people began criticism of the album's release; several weeks before it was officially available, media supporters of LaPret added the rapper to popular sites where only persons with “celebrity-status” are mentioned.
The album is a compilation of released, leaked-to-release and previously uneleased singles. The album includes appearances by Shanice Cooper, Fantasia, KeVonna Graves, Beyonce, Mizz Redz and Devan "Aze" Brockenberry.

2007's Do a Dub and 2008's Make U See are the first and second solo single releases by LaPret. The single "Swerve" (featuring Mizz Redz and Aze) was the first single from the 2008 Get 2 Know Us EP by the group, Profound Intent.
[edit] Leaked Singles
2007's Work It (featuring Shanice Cooper and Roc) was leaked in July 2007 on the GarageBand.com site. The song's female vocalist Shanice Cooper was slated to join the group Profound Intent as the new Lead Singer. Russell "Roc" Tolson would also join the group as the 2nd male rapper. The song was well-accepted by fans, but the new member line-up fell through. The single would later officially release as a track on LaPret's debut EP Do A Dub in fall 2007.
Let's Get Krunk was leaked throughRapNews.net in May 2007 and became the groups signature anthem. This song introduced - Shanice Cooper and Russell "Roc" Tolson - the newest members of Profound Intent. Many outlets added the song to their networks due to its sustained popularity. The song was featured on 2007's Do A Dub. However, an updated version of the song, Let’s Get Krunk, Pt. 2 (with [[Shanice Cooper and C-Quence) appears on "The Reputation of a Rap Star - The Hits & Remixes"
