The Promise went gold in ten months time after release. It's tracks Written on My Heart and God Is In This Place were both secured a top spot over Christian radio and the album itself hit the Christian Soundscan charts at number one. Off of the album's best tracks were Written on My Heart, My Life, Soul Tattoo, My Friend, Last Flight Out and Here in My Heart.
