About
The Prom Kings was formed in 2001 in Los Angeles California. The band composed of "Chris Carney" on vocals, "Joey Hollearn" on guitar, "Mauricio Brandao" on bass and "Luke Pickerill". Chris is a son of missionaries. Luke and Chris met at a party. Luke at that time was a member of a band, however, Chris was convincing him to join with him in forming a new band. Luke decided to be with Chris and recruited Joey and Mauricio to join them. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2005 under Three Kings. It debuted at #30 on the Top Hotseekers Charts. It features the singles, "Alone" and "Blow". Their song "Blow" was featured in the movie The Island.
