The Petes
The Petes are a group located in the suburbs of Los Angeles. since their conception in early March of 2004, they've been enjoying every minuite of their musical relationship. Elliott Barker, the lead singer/guitarist, definitely has his own style inspired by artists such as Jack White, and Thom Yorke. Peter Coro plays guitar, xylophone, and keyboard. Pete has a very unique song writing style influenced by many groups such as M. Ward, The Beatles, and Dandy Warhols. He never ceases to blow any of us away with his new songs. Cody has his own forceful yet precise style; mixing genres like punk, hip hop, classic rock, electronic, and even motown. His biggest influences are James Jamerson, Murdoc Niccals, John Entwistle, and Squarepusher. David, the percussionist, has one of the most unique and interesting styles you'll hear today, he is influenced by artists including Bill Bruford, Joe Morello, Phil Selway, and Stewart Copeland.
