About

The Paramour Sessions, is another Nu Metal album from the rapcore group, Papa Roach, that sounds just like their previous album. They used the title The Paramour Sessions in the acknowledgment of the site where they recorded this full-length studio album. It focuses on drug abuse, suicides and crimes; elaborated in every track of the album, like Forever Young which describes how drugs can affect an individual. Also another track like Roses on my Grave and I Devise my Own Demise are dealing with suicidal message. They also made music that gives an idea of what is happening in the world right now, like the tracks Crash and Time is Running Out. The Paramour Sessions debuted at #16 on the Billboard 200 Chart with 37,000 copies sold. But it didn't match the sales of their triple-platinum album Infest. A well-crafted album, though lyrics are explicit, every track has a lesson to be learned.

Reviews

The album detailed violence and lessons to those who are abusing themselves using drugs and those who have suicidal tendencies. It also talks about what is happening in the world around us. Overall, this album is an eye-opener especially in the present status of the world. –Raine 19 December 2006 22:30 PDT
