The Overture & The Underscore is the debut album by the Australian award singer Sarah Blasko. Most of the tracks in the album were written by Sarah Blasko and Robert F Cranny.

The Overture & The Underscore was relased on October 11, 2004 under Dew Process records. The album peaked no.35 on the Australian Chart. The album received good reviews in Australia having been nominated for Album of the Year. The only hit single in the album "Don't U Eva" released only 1000 copies before it was deleted. The album was rated no.9 on the list of favourite 2004 albums according to Triple J Music Director Richard Kingsmill.
