Evanescence's second album which also has the same sound/music as the first album. The album was also written mostly by Amy Lee and fellow band members Terry Balsamo and John LeCompt.


The Open Door is an alternative rock album by Evanescence which was released on October 3, 2006 under Wind-Up Records.

The album's tracks were all Amy Lee and most of it were co-written by fellow band members. This is the second album of Evanescence and was just released late September 2006 to early October 2006 (depending on what country you live). The album consists of their carrier single Call Me When You're Sober, and includes the OST of Chronicles of Narnia.
