The sophomore album of rapper Lil' Kim is entitled The Notorious KIM which was released on June 27, 2000 by Atlantic Records. The album debuted number 4 on the Billboard 200 selling almost 120,000 in its first week, higher than what has been predicted. Eventually the album was awarded "the most album sold in a single week" be any female rap artist in the world.
It spawned two hit singles "No Matter What They Say" that reached number sixty on the Billboard Hot 100 and 35 on the UK Singles Chart and "How Many Licks" debuted at number 90 on the Hot 100 charts and rose to 75. The single featured R&B singer Sisqo where it received several awards and nominations.
