The Morning After was released on November 05, 2002 under J-Records. The album peaked no.38 on the Billboard top 200 and no.7 on the R&B Chart. The album is filled with ballads and upbeat jams. Its hit singles in the album are "Absolutely Not," "Up & Down" which ranked no.58 on the R&B Chart, "Mr. Lonely peaked no.1 on the U.S. Dance Play also the single "Play Your Part," and "The Morning After" reached no.63 on the R&B Chart. The album was also Certified Platinum in U.S.
