The Master is the second album released by the hip-hop rapper Rakim. The album was produced by DJ Premier, DJ Clark Kent, The 45 King, Big Jaz and TR Love.

The Master was released on November 30, 1999 under Polygram Records. The first single in the album "Heat It Up" ranked no.24 on the Hot Rap Singles and no.92 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart. The second single "When I B On Tha Mic" hit no.20 on the Hot Rap Singles. The album did not hit the Top 50 on Billboard's album chart.
