The Graduate was formed in November 2005 in Springfield, Illinois by, "Tim Moore" on drums, "Corey Warning" on vocals, "Matt Kennedy" on guitar and keys, "Max Sauer" on guitar and "Jared Wuesteburg on bass. In 2006, they released their first EP, Horror Show. Their first full lenth solo album, Anhedonia was released on April 10, 2007 under Icon Mes Records and featues the single, "Justified". They released another EP in November 27, 2007 entitled, The Evergreen EP. A Christmas gift for their fans.

- In late 2006, College Music Journal featured The Graduate on the cover of the CMJ New Music Report for being the most added band to college radio stations during the week of December 3, 2006.
