The Gift Of Game was released on October, 26, 1999 under Sony records. The album ranked no.9 on the U.S. Billboard chart and no.15 on the U.K. Chart. Other artist included in the album are Orgy members and rapper KRS-One. The only hit single in the album "Butterfly" which was also sampled by the band Red Hot Chili Peppers peaked no.1 on the US Hot 100 Billboard chart for 2 weeks.
