The Fluid is an American Rock Band who rose to fame via their album, Punch N Judy.

The Fluid was formed in 1984. They were originally called, "Madhouse". In 1986, they released their debut album, Punch N Judy under RayOn & Glitterhouse Records. Their next album, Clear Black Paper was issued in 1988 under Glitterhouse & Sub Pop. Their next album, Roadmouth was released in 1989 under Glitterhouse Records. Glue followed in 1990 and in 1993, they issue their next album, Purplemetalflakemusic.
