The Concretes is an American Indie Pop who rose to fame via their single, "Say Something New".

About

The Concretes were formed in 1995 by "Victoria Bergsamn" on vocal, "Maria Eriksson" and "Lisa Milberg" on drums. In a span of three years, more members are added like, "Markus" on guitar, "Marin Hansson" on bass, "Per Nystrom" on organ, "Ulrik Karlsson" on organ and "Malter" on vocals. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2003 under Astralwerks. The album features the singles, "Say Something New" and "You Can't Hurry Love". In 2006, their next album, In Colur was issued in 2006. Their latest album, Hey Trouble was released in 2007.
