The Cab is an rock band from Nevada. The band members are Alex DeLeon for the vocals, Cash Colligan for the bass, Alex Johnson for the drums, Alex Marshall for piano/vocals and Ian Crawford for the guitar.

Alternative band from Las Vegas, Nevada, The Cab, began in 2004. The line-up includes Alex DeLeon (vocals), Alex Marshall (piano), Ian Crawford (guitar), Cash Colligan (bass) and Alex Johnson (drums). Just seniors in high school then, The Cab used borrowed money for studio time to record some singles. "I'll Run" was loved by the crowd and they were asked to play gigs on the weekends. Their name gained popularity in the local scene. Panic! at the Disco got hold of The Cab's demos and Brendon Urie sang a part of "I'll Run" at a gig causing a major buzz around town. When Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy gave the band a ring and asked them to perform for him. Wentz saw the potential in the seniors and took them under his wing. The Cab was offered a sweet deal with Decaydance Records but decided to sign in after graduation.
They opened for Fall Out Boy at Anaheim. After graduation, the band began their music career but Paul Garcia decided to bail. He was replaced by Ian Crawford who came from Seattle. The Cab wrote new materials and went in the studio with Matt Squire who also produced other bands like Panic! at the Disco, Boys Like Girls and more. The band released their debut album, Whisper War in 2008.
