Tattoo You is an album by the rock n' roll band The Rolling Stones. It is one of best selling albums by the group and was ranked no.34 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest albums in the 80's.

About

Tattoo You was released on August 24, 1981 under Rolling Stones Records. The album ranked no.2 on the U.K. chart for 29 weeks and no.1 on the Billboard chart for 58 weeks. The first single in the album "Start Me Up" hit the no.2 spot on the Billboard chart and no.1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. It was also played at the beginning of most NFL games. The second single "Little T&A" sung by guitarist Keith Richards reached no.6 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The third single "Waiting On A Friend" ranked no.8 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks wherein the video of the song was shot on the location in New York's East Village.
