About
A less experimental album than her previous ones, Tasty found immediate success in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. With a little involvement of The Neptunes production, she collaborated with Dallas Austin, Rockwilder, Andre 3000, frontman of the group Outkast and Raphael Saadiq. Despite of the new assistance in production, the album proved its success more obviously in the UK where it reached a platinum certification there. Eventhough her previous album failed in the U.S. market, all her hard work in Tasty had paid off in the UK. She released four singles off the album were three of it was a top 20 hit. In the U.S., her single Milkshake managed to secure a number 3 position in the Billboard Hot 100. Surprisingly, after three years of release, it re-entered the UK album charts at number 64 and number 3 in the UK Top 40 R&B Albums chart while her latest album Kelis Was Here was falling off the chart.

Reviews
Considered as her best work, Tasty is a more mature and more lighter than her previous efforts. With her unique style and voice, Kelis has taken us over to the next level by collaborating with different producers and brought back the heat in the hip-hop industry. - Raine 08:20 26 November 2006 (PDT)
