Talk Talk was formed in 1981 by, "Mark Hollis" on vocals, "Simon Brenner" on Keybords, "Lee Harris" on drums and "Paul Webb" on bass. Their first album, The Party's Over was released in 1982 under EMI Records. It chartered at #21 on the Billboard 200 Charts. The album sold over a quarter of a million copies. Simon left the band in 1983 after the released of their single, "My Foolish Friend". Simon was replaced by, "Tim Friese-Greene". Their next album, It's My Life was released in 1984 under EMI Records which chartered at #42 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Their hit album, The Colour of Spring was released in 1986 which landed at #58 on the Billboard 200. Their next album, Laughing Stock was released in 199o under Verve Records. The album reached #30 the UK Charts. After the released of their album, the band was disbanded. Paul and Lee formed a new band, while Tim went solo.
