T.E.V.I.N. was released on November 19, 1991 under Warner Bros. The album ranked no.38 on the The Billboard 200 and no.5 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The first single in the album "Round And Round" became a big hit which peaked no.3 on the US R&B chart. The second single "Just Ask Me To" featuring rapper Chubb Rock hit no.9 on the US R&B chart. The third single "Tell Me What You Want Me to Do" peaked no.1 on the US R&B chart and became the only no.1 Adult Contemporary hit by the singer.
