T-Pain is an American hip-hop artist from Tallahassee. He became famous for his song "Fucked Up" which was a revived version of Akon's "Locked Up" song.

About
Rapper T-Pain (Faheem Najm) was born in Tallahassee, Florida on June 30, 1985. At the age of 10 years old, T-Pain already had passion for music. He made his room into a studio with beat machine, four-track recorder and a keyboard. The "T" in his name means his hometown and the "pain" meant the feeling that he felt trying to make it out of Tallahassee. He became a member of a rap crew name Nappy Headz. T-Pain became a local celebrity for his work like "Fucked Up", T-Pain’s version of Akon’s “Locked Up”. The song caught the attention of Akon and was impressed. Akon signed in T-Pain with Konvict Music record label. In 2005, he released his debut single "I’m Sprung". It was written for the girl he knew back then later on it was revealed that the girl is now his wife. The single was followed by his debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga.
