Sugarcult is an Alternative rock band from California. The group had performed with many of today's most hottest bands. They also joined some festivals like Warped in the U.S., Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds in the U.K. and Summer Sonic in Japan.

Pop-punk band Sugarcult consist of Tim Pagnotta (vocals and guitar), Marko DeSantis (guitar), Airin Older (vocals and bass) and Kenny Livingston (drums). The name came from the lesbians who lived in Tim’s apartment. They began in 1998 and was the opening act for Superdrag. In 2001, Sugarcult debuted on Ultimatum where the single “Stuck in America” and “Bouncing Off the Walls” were a smash hit. They went on the Warped Tour where they gained a number of fans. In 2002, switched to Fearless Records. Two years later, Palm Trees And Power Lines went its way to the top of the Billboard chart.

Sugarcult released Back To The Disaster in 2005. A live dvd album. They continued to go on an extensive tour opening for bands like Green Day. They also dominated Japan's Summer Sonic Festival, Warped Tour and Glastonbury in U.K. In 2006, Sugarcult issued Lights Out.

  • The band got its name after a group of lesbians who lived in an apartment where Tim used to live wherein he named the occupants in the apartment as the Sugar Cult girls.
