Styles P is an American Hip-Hop Artist who rose to fame via his album, A Gangster and A Gentleman.

Styles P or "David Styles" in real life was born on November 28, 1974 in Corona, Queen and was raised in Yonkers, New York. In 1994, together with his friends "Jadakiss" and "Sheek" formed the hip-hop group, LOX. The group has released four studio albums. Styles released his solo debut album, A Gangster and A Gentleman in July 2002 by Universal Records. The album chartered at #6 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart and #2 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. It features the single, "Good Times" which landed at #6 on Hop R&B/Hip-Hop Singles and Tracks and #8 on Hot Rap Singles Chart. In December 2006, his album, Time is Money was released. The album reached #19 on Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. His latest album, Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman) was released in December 2007 and featured the singles "Blow Ya Mind" and "Gangster Gangster". The album debuted at #51 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart and sold 25,000 copies on its first week alone.
